It was An Amazing Sight to behold ..! A reinvigorating experience..!

World Cultural Festival at Delhi on 11-13^th March was no less than a Magnificent Marvel  that witnessed lakhs of people gathered from 155 countries.37,000 artists from across nations performing on world’s largest stage of 7 acres. More  than 8500 musicians playing 50 instruments. Colossal..!!

Confluence of Musical,Cultural,Spiritual,Artistic,Leadership gathering from across the globe at one place devoid of any Hatred and Violence.The festival witnessed Convergence of Faiths, Cultures ,Ideologies under one roof which no politician or event management company has been able to achieve.

Uniting such a huge gathering from Diverse Faiths ,Giving Message Of Peace, Universal Brotherhood is no mean task & only a Divine Vision & Intervention can bring this to fruition.

Good Initiatives to Spread Peace & Harmony is not Palatable to selected few who wish to breed Hatred & Conflict.Few forces united together to stop this event be it sections of Media ,Political Parties, or so called Intellectuals. It was hilarious to know that  Charge of damaging the environment is being levelled on  Sri Sri who initiated Mission Green Earth in Collaboration with the United Nations,planted 55 million trees in 36 countries and 26 states of India. Sri Sri was the first one to initiate Meri Dili Meri Yamuna, a ‘Clean Yamuna drive' and along with thousands of youth took upon himself to clean the ghats of Yamuna and remove  tonnes of clothes, plastic, garbage.

Art Of Living has done a huge body of work in protecting the environment and blaming the organisation without proper homework is Unethical & Condemnable.Art Of Living has rejuvenated many rivers including The Kumudvathi River Rejuvenation Project . AOL has rejuvenated 16 rivers across 3 states in India. 

All those journalists, politicians who never ever contributed a bit for cleaner environment are criticizing the noble cause of Sri Sri and coming up with more asinine than before.Opposition party that vociferously criticised citing damage to environment during WCF, accorded clearance to  Multi-Crore Common Wealth Games Village in 2007 by the then Prime Minister on the Yamuna River bed, who held the charge of the environment ministry then. The clearance was upheld by the Supreme Court. Where was NGT then ? Why media didn’t question & scrutinize then? How all of a sudden they woke up from this deep slumber to boycott ? Mammoth land grab is no issue for this opposition party but 3 day event with temporary structures is an ecological threat. Illegal colonies have gobbled up Yamuna flood banks. NGT’s silence is Collusion by another name.

Wonder why Sitaram Yechury didn’t question when Army built 2 pontoon bridges for Yanni’s concert in 1997 at the back side of Taj Mahal on the banks of river Yamuna.

And these very Politicians ,Media groups who were fighting Tooth & Nail to stop this event were supporting the intolerance brigade months back..Where did their Tolerance go to Welcome Values of Peace, Love & Harmony from Diverse Cultures ?..Where did their Ethics Vanish ?  Or is the agenda only to breed hatred & conflict.!!?

I am reminded of  beautiful line by famous poet Nida Fazli “Us kay dushman hai bahut aadmi achha hoga”

And as it is said “Shreyomsi Bahu Vignani Bhavanthi Mahathaam Api” ( Many obstacles do come in the way of people of Shreyas but one must not lose one’s heart ).

When the Vision is so Grand and Pious every Challenge, every Impediment turns into an Opportunity and Sri Sri just Proved that.
